The Chester Bluecoat Charity is thrilled to announce that The Bluecoat building will soon be home to a holistic wellbeing hub, run by Calm Coffee Group CIC!

Calm Coffee is a pioneering community interest company known for its commitment to mental and emotional wellbeing and will be opening the doors to the new city centre location in early April 2024.

Visitors to Calm Coffee can expect a variety of services aimed at supporting their journey to wellness by improving mental and emotional health. From therapeutic sessions, SEND parent/carer wellbeing drop-in sessions, weekly yoga and coffee mornings to holistic workshops, the new location is designed to be a safe space where individuals can find solace and strength. Calm Coffee, free to attend and open to all, encourages open discussions on mental health in a confidential environment.

The new city centre location in The Bluecoat will extend their reach alongside Calm Coffee’s centre in Blacon at Rage Fitness, supporting their mission of ‘power & support, empower & transform’.

Mike Jenkins, CEO of The Chester Bluecoat Charity said “We are absolutely delighted to be welcoming Calm Coffee to the Bluecoat family.  Our mission has always been to support those in need in Chester and this fantastic wellbeing hub will enable more people to reach the vital services they need.”
