Read about the accessibility of The Bluecoat on our Contact page.

Whilst every effort has been made to make The Bluecoat building fully accessible, due to the historic nature of the building it has not been possible to make it fully accessible to all users. Wheelchair users can access the building, however there is a weight limit of 31 stone due to the ramp’s limitations.

As The Bluecoat is located in Chester City centre, we do not have a dedicated car park. The closest car park is Delamere Street park, 120 metres away. AccessAble have a dedicated webpage about the car park’s accessibility here. Blue Badge parking is located at Hamilton Place, Goss Street, Chester, CH1 2BG

AccessAble have full details of the accessibility of the building here.

Assistance Dogs are welcome throughout the building.

The Bluecoat building has a defibrillator installed in the archway at the front of the building. The defibrillator is accessible to the public 24/7. In an emergency, call 999 who will give further instructions.
